To connect people, knowledge and experience across countries and generations, creating opportunities for lifelong learning, knowledge transfer, leadership development, volunteering and community service.
ISVG's mission is to provide an international platform through which Scout leaders and volunteers, active and retired professionals, subject specialists, educators, trainers, researchers, mentors and other experienced individuals can share their knowledge, skills and experience with younger generations and communities.
Through training, mentoring, dialogue, digital learning, publications, professional and cultural exchange, international cooperation and community-based initiatives, ISVG seeks to strengthen individual and institutional capacity while promoting integrity, responsibility, volunteerism and service.
ISVG also seeks constructive cooperation with Scout organisations and other institutions whose objectives complement its own. Its role is not to duplicate established Scout structures, but to extend opportunities for lifelong engagement and bring additional professional, technical and experiential knowledge into voluntary service and community development.
The International Scout Volunteer Group is an international volunteer, knowledge-sharing and community service network inspired by the values of Scouting.
