The International Scout Volunteer Group (ISVG) operates through a global organisational structure designed to connect international leadership with regional and country-level management.

At the global level, the World Council provides the principal international leadership framework, supported by the Central Management Council in the coordination and administration of the organisation. The Supreme Disciplinary Council provides an independent disciplinary function within the constitutional framework.
For international coordination, ISVG recognises seven geographical regions:
Regional leadership supports the development and growth of ISVG within these geographical areas and provides a link between global leadership and country organisations.
At country level, recognised ISVG organisations provide the structure through which programmes, membership, volunteering, knowledge sharing and community initiatives can be developed according to local needs while remaining connected to the wider ISVG international network.
This structure enables ISVG to maintain a common global identity while allowing appropriate flexibility for regional and country-level development.
