Impact Overview

ISVG's approach to impact begins with a simple principle: experience becomes more valuable when it is shared and knowledge creates greater value when it contributes to society.

ISVG's approach to impact begins with a simple principle: experience becomes more valuable when it is shared and knowledge creates greater value when it contributes to society.

Through its international network, ISVG seeks to mobilise the knowledge and experience of Scout leaders, professionals, specialists, educators, researchers, mentors and volunteers and connect these resources with people and communities that can benefit from them.

The organisation's impact framework therefore extends beyond counting members or countries. It seeks progressively to understand how ISVG contributes to knowledge transfer, lifelong learning, volunteer participation, leadership development, youth engagement, international cooperation and community action.

Impact may be generated through global initiatives, Regional Management, Country ISVG organisations, partnerships and individual contributors.

As ISVG's monitoring and reporting systems develop, this page should provide a consolidated view of verified achievements across the international network.
