Scout Organisations

Scouting is an important part of ISVG's heritage and continues to inspire many of the values underlying its approach to leadership, volunteerism and service.

ISVG recognises and respects the distinct mandates and governance of national Scout organisations and established international Scout institutions. ISVG does not seek to replace, duplicate or compete with their established roles or programmes.

Instead, ISVG seeks opportunities for complementary cooperation where appropriate. Experienced Scout leaders and volunteers within the ISVG network can contribute accumulated knowledge, mentoring and leadership experience, while collaboration can create additional opportunities for lifelong engagement, knowledge exchange, community service and intergenerational learning.

ISVG is particularly interested in cooperation that enables experienced people to continue contributing after or alongside their active Scouting responsibilities and creates constructive connections between Scouting experience and wider professional expertise.

Any formal collaboration should be developed through mutual agreement while respecting the policies, governance and institutional independence of the organisations concerned.

Recognised Scout organisation partners will be listed here once formal relationships are confirmed.
