The ISVG Open University represents a long-term educational aspiration arising from ISVG's original vision of making knowledge and learning accessible internationally.
The ISVG Open University represents a long-term educational aspiration arising from ISVG's original vision of making knowledge and learning accessible internationally.
The concept builds upon a simple idea: ISVG's global network contains substantial knowledge accumulated through Scouting, professions, education, research, leadership, skilled practice, volunteering and life experience. With appropriate academic structures, partnerships, technology and quality assurance, this knowledge has the potential to support more structured lifelong-learning opportunities in the future.
The ISVG Open University is therefore envisioned as a progressive institutional development rather than an immediately operational university.
