ISVG is committed to promoting a safe, respectful and responsible environment for people participating in its programmes, activities, learning opportunities, volunteering and digital platforms.

All ISVG activities should respect human dignity and take reasonable measures to prevent abuse, exploitation, harassment, discrimination and other inappropriate conduct. Particular attention should be given to activities involving children, young people and adults who may be at increased risk of harm.

Officials, members, volunteers, trainers and others acting on behalf of ISVG are expected to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, follow applicable safeguarding requirements and report serious safeguarding concerns through established organisational procedures.

Country organisations must also comply with safeguarding and child-protection laws applicable in their respective jurisdictions.

A comprehensive ISVG Safeguarding Policy and Procedures will establish detailed responsibilities, reporting mechanisms, response procedures and standards for ISVG activities.

Detailed approved policy to be uploaded.

Approved documents will be published here.
