ISVG recognises the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as an important international framework for understanding how local and international action can contribute to wider sustainable development priorities.
ISVG's programmes may contribute to different SDGs depending on their actual objectives and outcomes. Activities involving learning and knowledge transfer, youth engagement, volunteering, community development, partnerships and other initiatives may have connections with relevant Sustainable Development Goals.
ISVG does not assume that every activity contributes to every SDG. An SDG should be associated with an ISVG programme or activity only where there is a clear and reasonable connection between the activity, its intended outcome and the relevant Goal.
The SDG Contribution page should therefore progressively present documented ISVG activities and verified outcomes according to the Sustainable Development Goals to which they genuinely contribute.
Programmes and stories tagged to a Sustainable Development Goal will be aggregated here.
The International Scout Volunteer Group is an international volunteer, knowledge-sharing and community service network inspired by the values of Scouting.
