ISVG Trinidad and Tobago

Connecting Experience, Inspiring Generations.

ISVG Trinidad and Tobago is the country organisation of the International Scout Volunteer Group. It brings together experienced Scout leaders, active and retired professionals, educators and volunteers who share their knowledge and experience with younger generations and their communities — through training, mentoring, community service and international exchange.

What ISVG Trinidad and Tobago works towards

Objectives

  1. To create ways for experienced Scout leaders, professionals and specialists to transfer their expertise to younger generations and communities.
  2. To develop lifelong learning opportunities, including the ISVG Open University concept.
  3. To turn knowledge, skills and experience into voluntary action that responds to community needs.
  4. To promote ethical leadership, integrity and responsible citizenship.
  5. To give young people and emerging professionals the chance to learn from experienced mentors.
  6. To connect national expertise and activities with the wider international ISVG network.
  7. To build collaboration with Scout organisations, educational institutions, professional bodies and civil society.
  8. To support programmes that contribute to community development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
