Country Management provides the principal organisational structure through which ISVG operates and develops its presence within individual countries.
The Constitution provides for a Country Chief Commissioner, supported by a Country Deputy Chief Commissioner, Country Secretary, Country Commissioners, Country Director and other functional leadership positions. The Country Chief Commissioner is assigned responsibility for supporting the development and growth of ISVG within the respective country.
Country organisations connect ISVG's international purpose with national and local realities. They can facilitate membership, volunteering, knowledge-sharing activities, community programmes, partnerships and other approved initiatives according to local needs and applicable requirements.
Recognised Country ISVG organisations remain part of the wider ISVG international structure and should operate consistently with the Constitution, approved policies, organisational standards and applicable laws within their respective jurisdictions.
Where appropriate, individual countries may develop local structures below the national level in accordance with their approved country framework and applicable national requirements.
Visitors seeking information about a particular Country ISVG organisation should be directed to Our Presence, where recognised countries are listed and linked to their own country pages.
The International Scout Volunteer Group is an international volunteer, knowledge-sharing and community service network inspired by the values of Scouting.
